NO NEWS IS GOOD NEWS!!! part 2

And yet again no news!!! In London you put in an offer on a property they take your deposit and get reference checks arranged, job done. So far in Norfolk WE  have had to wait for the landlords approval to accept us before we can even put a deposit down, just a thought but it feels like LET - factor lol!

So me being the stubborn mare that I am, i've gone back online and looking around, just curiously of course!!

Hubster is yet again shaking his head, I've even started going on job sites to start applying (for him lol). Hubster has done Freight, Export in particular but this year saw him have a mid life crisis and he'd rather get out of that field, personally I think it might be the gold that gets us into an area. However in Devon (the whole of!!) there is ONE vacancy, in Norfolk there is ONE vacancy lol so started looking at Weston Super Mare too as in Bristol Hubster can apply for 50 jobs!

Houses of interest now, as I may as well do a voting system to see which area / house I view next lol.

Contender no 1:

Weston Super Mare, overlooking West Bay, so sea views huge plus

and walking distance to the beach another huge plus. Four beds, three receptions so room to accommodate our huge brood. 1o miles to Bristol airport for hubster's job, if I can encourage him to stay with what he does best :(.

Contender No 2

 Torrongton, Devon.
Four bed, 28ft living rm, 32 ft kichen / diner/ living. 5 miles to the sea. Downside Exeter is the closet LARGER town for jobs. Also the cheapest house in the block and and yes its a converted chapel, fab hallway!
and strange man in mirror to boot!!!

Contender no 3

Devizes, not mentioned before I realise but looks like a fab town and close to drive into London on a regular basis and several options for jobs!!

Four bed (obviously lol) Kitchen / diner downstairs. Living room with balcony upstairs overlooking Kennet canal (might have got that wrong, too much information going into a tiny brain recently). Nice large garden, downside no spare room for visitors / overnighters except L/R :(. Very nice big garden for a new build.
and the last contender No 4
Long Stratton , Norfolk (yes the one we have an offer on) do we wait or look elsewhere???
Four bed, 3 receptions, quiet area, football vets team for hubster as he keeps reminding me and I thought I would have trouble with the boys lol. Huge conservatory (inc in 3 rec).

20 mins to sea and 20-35 mins to possible jobs!
Right i'll leave this decision in your hands and i'll have a break from thinking for a night!!

Ta ta !!

  1. Well...you know if you head to WSM mum and Dad will be there before mum even has time to pack her ten zillion books. She is desperate to move there so that 'may' be a bonus :) I'm obviously there lots too visiting my lovely in-laws and i'm sure Adie would introduce you to lots of people x

  2. Problem with chapels if they have large (yes beautiful) rooms is they are expensive and hard to heat! I'm getting good feeling about number three, no room for visitors could poss be solved by large shed type room in garden! Or a tent lol! Best to go for option with lots of jobs, as the job Market/country is struggling a bit best to keep most options open and hubby to stick with what he knows, at least until settled! Xx
