Even if happiness forgets you a little bit, never completely forget about it. ~Jacques Prévert

Yippeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!

We are moving!
We won't be homeless!!
We will become Norfolk folk!!!

All reference checks have gone through for our bungalow in Great Moulton and our move date has been set for 15th July 2011. I've even been so bold this time to move my phone line and broadband (well priorities, how do I blog without it!!) booked for the 18th woo hoo!!!
Our beautiful landlady although she hasn't found somewhere to live (which is slightly scaring in case she realises the concept of homelessness) has agreed to move out and into her daughters house so that we can move in within our timeframe!! Bless her!!

Hubster has a new fixation now finding the other cyclist who lives in Great Moulton so they can cycle to there hearts content on a Sunday!! Must keep reminding him of our new business lol!!

So a couple of pics of our new house

We like a lllllllllllooooooooooooooooooooottttttttttttttt <3

So hoping nothing goes wrong again this time now but until those wondrous keys are in our hands on the 15th we shall always be wondering but it feels like its our this time and we are finally moving to the country!!!

Now need to get rid of our excess stuff

finish more than one room packing

and then pour the wine!!!!

Some say the glass is half full, some say the glass is half empty. I say “Are you gonna drink that

Ok we've come up with a contingency plan and it involves the other side of England, well we will be homeless very very soon so its either that or Scotland lol!!

Tomorrow we will also put a deposit and submit reference checks on a property in a village 6 miles outside of Bude YES Cornwall, told you it was the other side! We haven't seen this property, don't know much about the area so this one purely is a lottery property. You know how on Location, Location they always have a mystery property this IS our mystery property.

If Great Moulton goes through OK obviously that is our first choice as we have started to build roots there already and know so much about the area. We will also take one final stab at a property in Uxbridge but at £1400 pcm slightly over our budget and I would have to go back to work full time and sharpish lol! (that's if they'll have me, although I've also written my resignation letter today to and I have to give 2 months notice and i'm due back on the 29/8/11 aaargh) What to do?????

So the mystery property is in Upper Tamar lake overlooking the lake, 4 beds, 3 floors, detached property, parking and garden and thats all we know folks.
Picture 1

Very seasonal area so we'll have to hibernate between October and March lol!!!

We've had some fun whilst packing boxes this weekend, hubster found his school reports and they were most interesting and bless him he is still just as chatty, prone to being distracted, always day dreaming and is wasting his and our time!! BLESS!!!
In my box no school reports I think I got rid of them in a past move but my mum had passed me down all my old school books (and yes they've all gone now but that'll be because of the mould growing on them, yes I am that old) and my little Polish school books when I went to a Saturday school in Ealing very sweet.
Hubster also found one of my many Bridget Jones type notebooks which at the start of this blog I said I did every beginning of the year, I was just a little delayed this year but i'm further than I usually get. Anyway he was roaring with laughter so i'll let you have a read, only the first page got completed.........

"How difficult is it for a single attractive (its my book I can write what I like!!!) , youngish woman to find love nowadays? A shift in values in both genders has the majority of the population confused about what is expected of them when it comes to love!!!
Now changed that to finding love when you are a single mother of 4 extraordinary children and you have a recipe for a wonderful column (ok I was trying to go in small before I hit the bog time with my book). I have been single now for almost 3 years, but have lived on my own now for 6 years! Wow, on paper that sounds scary. Let me introduce myself to you! I am 37 years old (so written Jan 2008 lol) possibly may stop but at the moment the consensus of opinion is "wow you don't look it" & "you can't have a daughter that old" (again this was MY book / column lol and i'm entitled to big myself up and for the record I have NOW stopped saying my age and people well believe me lol)  Praise works wonders on your self esteem and when that fails botox can take care of the rest!
I was married um happily and unhappily for 12 years (married v v young) and i've been divorced from the monster from outer space or should I just say 'mars' isn't that where the male species comes from? Back to the point sorry, divorced now for 5 years, monster has since remarried and new wifey wants to be friends, alarm bells ringing yet?? after monster left, I met up with an old school sweetheart and became pregnant with my youngest. Yes, I don't know about precautions blah blah, obviously too fertile for my own good. Anyway wouldn't be without my little man now for all the tea in China. Obviously that was a rushed, rebound relationship that didn't work out but doesn't stop him trying it on every other weekend when he comes to collect little man (again for the record that has stopped now) with the exception of when his fiancee from hell is in the car. Sorry fiancee from hell is probably too strong, i'm sure she is a great fiancee (that has been proven wrong now lol) , just not a great step mum, she ordered him to give back a collage of pictures of little man that little man gave them for Christmas because it was too 'personal' see my point!! Little man is only 4 years old, of course photos are personal!!!
Ok, that's enough about them this column is about me and my dating life. The joys and numerous laughs associated with internet dating, and first dates (sorry interviews) always amazes me. I must admit I have tried to 'be open about the possibilities that love is around the corner' (turned out that was in the next road to me) . But apart from looking completely desperate (shame we can't do visuals here) it doesn't work. Trust me you can only smile so long at someone whilst picking up a packet of laxatives for your son. So i'm going to go all the way back to date number 1 and hopefully (year 2030 good for you) I will meet the love of my life, my soul mate. Yep thought so you're about as optimistic as I am but ever the hopeful!!!

That was then this is now and 18 months after that was written, my soul mate did indeed come into my life and I've never been happier. All of my friends thinks i'm far too slushy nowadays but also know of the trials of my dating life without my need to write a book about it, they had to live through it and have many a good tale to tell. HG's Favorite is about the size of was it bottle lid or cork anyway not going into any further details about that!!!
Hubster is a true gem in a sea full of sharks, my life was completely changed when he came into my life and we sat on a bench and he uttered the words "choose me" I was dating another internet wanabee at the time and i'd known my hubster for 3 years previously but only as friends and confidantes. I knew lots about his life and he knew zilch about mine, OK I was his confidante then lol! But each and every day since we choose to be together has been like walking in a dream, of course we have niggles if you didn't you wouldn't be breathing and I know for a fact I rattle him all the time, especially when I can't get off the computer because I'm still blogging (yes like now ooops). He is bored of me now and has gone into the other room lol. But we blooming well LOVE each other to pieces and that reader is how it works!!!
Soppy I know but in the almost 2 years that we've been together we've gone through some utter s*** but nothing knocks us down and nothing breaks us up.
For my hubster this blog is dedicated to you and if you wanted to move to Timbuktu I would because i'd be with you, Always and Forever 381 <3

TTFN!!!

Judge not a man by his clothes, but by the way he packs his fragile items.

The hubster had a bit of a break today bless him, went to his night shift last night and managed to sleep until almost 12, bet he truly needed that!
Me and baby managed to pack up the Living room, no dvd's for the next 3 weeks but it'll make them all that more exciting when they open the boxes again, who am I kidding.
Phoned up the agents and my references are clear so just waiting for the employment checks for hubby but all should be fine. Now the scary bit the landlady hadn't found anywhere to move so our date of 14/15 July could be somewhat ain't gonna happen in a million years :(. So have started googling places to store all our goods if the worst comes to the worst. Found a great company that will even come in once all the goods are out and clean your house and wash the carpets result, just need a price????

Also set up a contingency plan, looked at a house in Hillingdon today its on for £1300 pcm and there are reasons why they didn't put up any inside pictures, the landlord is going to fix that, the landlord will paint everything, the landlord is putting etc etc!!!! Blimey. But maybe a thought if we become homeless and don't get the bungalow and thats another thought one floor, although it'll be really nice not to have to scream up the 3 floors to the boys to get their dinners being on one floor will also be different.
I've also just done a google map search for the local post office which is in walking distance of the bungalow, hmmm might start riding a bike lol!!

So i've done my usual JUST in case we do get the bungalow in Great Moulton.

ALocation: Great Moulton

Long Stratton 3 miles; Harleston 9 miles; Diss 11.5 miles; Norwich 14 miles.
The village of Great Moulton is set within a rural landscape in south Norfolk, close to the border with Suffolk. The village is well served, with a village shop, a post office, a butcher’s selling locally produced meats and a local pub that serves food. Within a short travelling distance is Harleston, where Georgian residences line the streets and a bustling market takes place every Wednesday. A short drive away, the market town of Diss has a large number of historic buildings and lies in the valley of the River Waveney, which is in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The city of Norwich, just 14 miles away, has two cathedrals, two shopping malls, a castle, museums, cinemas, and many good restaurants. On the Suffolk coastline near Lowestoft are many varied attractions for all the family, while Southwold offers wonderful scenic coastal views, birds and walks.
our pub 3 doors down lol! (possibly)
and our post office that took almost an hour to find on google maps driving or walking down the roads (no pavements) so really  might start riding a bike, hubster will be happy!!!
Ha ha just spent another hour looking for a picture of the post office and there isn't ANY, maybe thats because no one can ever find it lol!!!
Hmmm just received a text from my sons football manager, good of me to consult with him if we could move out of the borough!!! That'll be a few more goals going in for the opposite side now then sunshine ooops!! Again onwards and upwards, seven years of service to a football team should be commended not expected for a lifetime!! Love you really !! Although hubster would like a lifetime of playing and has also found a time trail bike team, man i'll never see him at this rate!!
Found some funny moving tips!!!

Depend on the rabbit's foot if you will, but remember it didn't work for the rabbit. ~R.E. Shay

No further news to tell on the house front as we are still awaiting the results of our reference checks but fingers crossed they go OK. Still really sceptical about whether we get this house now as we were soooooo close to getting the other property and that fell through so close to the keys being in our hands it was unreal.

Still mustn't dwell on the past as the future looks like it has a smile on its face who am I kidding , roll on 2012 is all I say me and hubster have had more than our share of bad luck surely??? The tide must be turning soon but not soon enough :(.
Talking of bad luck hubster went for his job interview in Diss on Wednesday for his beloved postman job and ooops his blonde ditzy wife had sent him on a 200 miles road trip on the wrong day :( aaargh!!!

Soooooooooooooooo bless him following a night shift and only 2 hours sleep me, hubster and baby set off again for the interview. I'm only there in case hubster desperately needs his sleep and I can take over driving. How often does that happen in the real world??? Normally when coming back from the pub there are no arguments about who should be driving lol!
So beautiful man goes off (looking very dashing might I add) into his interview and me and baby explore Diss, very very pretty and people were really nice. Hubster calls me after just 10 mins??? Without our address in Long Stratton they won't see him or even consider him for the job, aaargh!!! Seriously someone should start doing a mini soap about our adventures because its never a dull day.
Anyway back into the normal world and hubster gets called into work early today, we are starting to worry as obviously i've been quite ill so he has taken some time off to be with me and hmmm instead of getting the sack or even a warning about time taken off he gets offered a supervisors position in his company. Seriously some people get all the luck so obviously the bad luck is on my side.
Luckily for me my good friend HG did a three card reading for me to see if NOW was the right time to make our move this is what she said.

    • Honey, I hope you do not mind but I have done an oracle card reading for you myself I asked the question will the move work out as the right thing for you and the angels were definitely listening. the 3 card reading went... `````````````````` `LIFE PURPOSE - This card is saying you do not need to stress about finding your life purpose
        • Sorry messed up as I was saying you should not worry about whether you are following the right path, just follow your natural desires and intuition it will lead you on the true path. 2nd card = ENTREPRENEUR - This tells me you are well suited to being self employed, you have the ideas, the drive and the self discipline to be an entrepreneur, the angels will guide and support you all along the way as long as you are following your own path. Card 3 = TIME TO GO - This card is the angels letting you know that you are doing the right thing by admitting to yourself that it is time to leave a place or situation and that you need to now let ago of any guilt or fear you are holding on to regarding this step and its effect on others. You are hesitating because of loyalties and fears, the angels are telling you to let these go as you are doing the right thing and everything you are going through is all part of your journey there. xxxxxxx
  • So looks like the future might be looking up for me, well kind of someone else had to read my cards for me for them to be good, you don't want to know the kind of cards i've been pulling.
Anyway i'm trying to be positive :) moving to Great Moulton hopefully on the 15th July as had the new buyers of our place come round today to say that they will be moving in on the 16th July hmmm!!!! But baby can stay with as he is soooooooooooooo cute, we'll be the homeless family down the road lol!
Have finally started packing so every spare moment i'm trying to clear and pack at the same time, a feat in itself when you have a 7 month old crawling around everywhere and has just started standing in the middle of the room and then going OH S*** what do I do now and then falling with a bump on the floor. You have to love him but not getting a lot done!
Right the weekend is planned, movies and packing, ha ha i'll be lucky!!!
Next weekend is already booked with a school reunion on the Sat and then Race for Life on the Sun, maybe the new people will let me stay on to pack in my own sweet time lol!!

    TTFN!!!!
