Six of Swords!!!

Six of Swords
Time to travel, perhaps near or to water. Move to a new area. A change of pace and scenery. A slowing down. This part of your journey needs reverence and thought. Pick up the pieces and move on. Regained health, but it's been a slow process. Take slow methodical steps. Keep your chin up; this is a time of recovery. Sadness, but not depression. Coping. Hope is renewed.
That's apparently "my future" as predicted in the tarot cards. My past was pretty realistic too, ie struggles, having so much to do that actually nothing gets done. Present day was nothing special but I guess that's where I also am in status limbo.
So the house search continues again a contradiction in terms as I look then talk myself out of properties (almost all the time). I think the main problem here is the fact that we've already uprooted almost completely and do we seriously want to try and start again in a brand new area. But on the other side of the coin we've done it once surely we can do it again?
These are hubby's words "so you want to move back to Hillingdon, but you can't afford to, the houses aren't as nice, the area isn't as nice but your friends and family are there but the boys don't want to go back to school there and don't want to return to their friends so you're not sure if you should please the kids or please yourself and then you'll find a nice house in a nice area but there will be ONE thing that will turn you against the property/area and you'll be back to the drawing board again. And then you'll talk about staying and me commuting so G can continue until his exams but then you'll say you're too far away again. DO YOU REALLY KNOW WHAT YOU WANT because when you do i'll do whatever you want"

So we are looking at some houses on Saturday (obviously if they are still available as 5 days is a long time apparently in the renting world) this should help me to make up my mind one way or another if we want to move!

So firstly back in Hillingdon!!
Hillingdon is a suburban area within the London Borough of Hillingdon, situated 14.2 miles (22.8 km) west of Charing Cross.
Much of Hillingdon is represented as the Hillingdon East ward within the local authority, Hillingdon Council. In November 2010, the ward had a recorded population of 12,403

Where unfortunately at 30 times your salary hubby would need to be earning £37000 for a small mid terraced 3 bed roomed house. So we can afford a 2 bed maisonette!
Pro's: close to friends and family
know the area WELL
have already applied to work as a bank nurse at Hill hosp so would be close to work if I got the job
close to hubby's kids, in fact they could just walk round
close enough to hubby's work that he could cycle
Con's : have MAJOR issues with Hillingdon council and will probably continue to do so for many a year.
looked up homeschooling and they aren't very helpful in the area
kids don't really want to go back
can only afford a 2 bed or will stretch ourselves too much financially.
Storage and lack of a bedroom will be really hard

Next Stokenchurch (our favourite at present)
Stokenchurch is a village and civil parish within Wycombe district in Buckinghamshire England. It is in the Chiltern Hills, about 3 miles (4.8 km) south of Chinnor in Oxfordshire and 6 miles (9.7 km) west of High Wycombe. The village is a popular place to live, due to its rural location and ease of access to London and Birmingham. Stokenchurch has its own junction of the M40 (junction 5)

With IlmerOwlswickMeadle and Horsenden, it forms the civil parish of Longwick-cum-Ilmer which was created in 1934. In 1951 its population was 786,[citation needed] since when it has increased significantly to 1,267 in 2001.
