~ Time is free, but it's priceless. You can't own it, but you can use it. You can't keep it, but you can spend it. Once you've lost it you can never get it back. ~

Blimey I really can't believe its been over a week since my last blog :-( time is simply slipping through my fingers nowadays, the kids have started at their schools, I started at work (more about that in a bit) moved my daughter into her new house for uni and met up with my precious friends in London.

Gosh no wonder the week has just flown by.

Firstly the kids, they are getting on really well at school. both have friends and have settled into their new lessons really really well, very impressed with both of them. Hubby is still applying and looking for jobs on a daily basis, although not helped by inept recruitment agencies that send him to the wrong place for an interview and to only find out that the job had already gone that morning!!! She's since phoned him again with an interview for next week as head of HR but she and the owner of the company are both concerned he might be over qualified for the job (hubby has NEVER worked in HR in his life) stone the crows. Sometimes its really painful. Bless his heart he is trying even harder now as I utterly am not enjoying my job and added to the fact that I find the company completely unsafe (but as a nurse am not allowed to divulge any further information) but I don't like it and I want out already ;-( . Might start doing a cheerleading (if only I looked like that hubby, mind you he'd probably not get out of bed ever if I did ;P lol) dance for hubby each time he gets up to motivate him.

Added to the fact that still I seem to be able to get lost on even the simplest of journeys, one wrong turn and I seem to head miles away from where we live and see sites and places I had no idea were there, the other day I picked up the kids from school took the wrong country lane back home and an hour later (and one 8 year old snoring on the back seat) we finally found our way back home. Phew, its hard work, but although I keep saying it I will get myself a sat nav, especially with winter coming up. Brrrrrrr!!!!!!!

Little man has had croup bless him and has been quite poorly with it, hubby took him to doctors and although he had some meds a week later still isn't completely over it :-(.

I started my Avon round last week and this week and my first order has gone through, disappointed with the amount of notes saying don't leave a brochure here but I suppose it better than wasting my time trying to retrieve catalogues. If it wasn't for my good friend my order would have practically been zero :-(.

Moved my daughter (and flipping heck does she have a lot of stuff) into her house close to her university. Two of my close friends helped move her with the first load of stuff that she had left in their garage and then I came down on the Sunday to finish the job with all her items that were left at my mum and dads. Lots and lots of tears were shed again, thats the problem with only having one daughter who feels like your best friend and it feels like your right arm is being ripped out of the socket each and every time you say goodbye :-(.
Money aaaargh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now we really are struggling, have borrowed money off my 14 year old so there is enough money to cover our rent tomorrow. We haven't been to the shops in almost two weeks (world record for us), trying to stretch the food in ways we never realised we could. Petrol hmmmm not great when no public transport close by and we decided to live far from normality lol!! Oooops!!!:-(

On a brighter note I went back (I still say home) at the weekend and was shocked by the amount of traffic (or remembered the amount of traffic on a Monday morning) as we drove to Starbucks well a girl has to have her chai even if she can't afford food !!! It was wonderful seeing the girls again though(very pleased the Slug has had a revamp well overdue), and my dad (who has been deserted by his wife who is in Portugal getting a sun tan no less lol) and my friends in High Wycombe, thank you for all your help on Saturday and for being there for my daughter if she needs help ;-) (lovely to see you all) shame it had to go so fast but I get homesick for all of my boys, the biggest one in particular and find I now can't sleep without him. (No matter what I might say to him when I need to try and roll him on his side when he won't stop snoring) lol!!
Hubby is at football training at them moment he has a huge match on Sunday in fact it might be an all dayer as DS has a kick off at 10am and hubby kicks off at 1pm (same place luckily). Have become the ultimate in football widows lol!!!Although he has said he might take us to the pub afterwards if we're good ;-P!!!

Right I need to take some drastic action as I thought i'd cut my hair into a bob (again saving on costs) and it has now dried and um??????

There is no distance too far between friends, for friendship gives wings to the heart!!

I know I know, I said this blog would be more upbeat but its still raining so the down mood is still there too.

I have a good life :-) just walked the dog round to the post office with the boys, discovered its really really hard to push a buggy whilst being pulled by a very very large soppy dog, in fact its impossible :(. But while we were out and yet again i'm out without a scrap of make up, and wearing trainers (shocking I know) but I broke my flip flops yesterday by trying to have a run with the dog. Sorry deviating, anyway we live surrounded by fields, people now talk to us, many thanks to our dog lol and the house we live in is very pretty (bar the dog hairs now left).

BUT...............................................I miss my old life and right now I would give anything to turn back the 8 weeks and i'd be transported back to my old home and my friends and my life. I wouldn't have disrupted the boys schooling and ruined their friendships and hubby would still have a job, albeit a rubbish night shift job that killed me (lol).

I think even harder than that is the realization that everyone else seems to be coping really well with the move, hubby loves the life and of course his veterans football team and his new friends. The boys seem to have settled really well and are both looking forward to starting school tomorrow. Older son even has a footie match tomorrow so our life is moving on.

BUT...............................these blues seem to have taken over me and I can't shake them no matter what. I start work tomorrow and the staff there seem to be lovely, I also have to start my Avon round now as they are waiting for me to get back to them (oooops).

My daughter moves into her university flat on Saturday so on Sunday i'll be heading South to help her move and hopefully catch up with my girlies, not sure if that will help me or make me worst though :(.

I have a million and one things to do today and missing hubby loads as he has been staying in London doing a job for my dad, desperate for some cash to come in now as we've had tuna pasta 2 days in a row now!!

As for the dog hmmmmmmmmmmm, he is stunningly beautiful, doesn't bark and hates going out in the rain so in fact a real gem. BUT .................... he won't go in the garden on his own and so when you open the door for him and he just looks at you and then turns back round and goes to sleep what can you do?? Yesterday was our best day he wee'ed on the hallway floor, at 6am after (again) me opening the back door for him. He poo'ed on the hallway floor and after clearing away all the dinner dishes yesterday and we all went to bed he tipped up the bin and went through to get himself some dessert I guess. A friend of mine put this on Facebook yesterday and it just seemed so apt.

But god he is lovely but so big and so in the way :).

Must get on and start getting ready for work tomorrow and boys ready for school tomorrow but also quite happy just lounging around!!

"some days we just get stuck, and bogged down. some days all you can do is smile and wait for someone to kindly remove your butt from the hole you find it wedged into"

I have a distinct lack of energy today, can't get motivated, my heart isn't in anything I do in fact just lost the will!!!!

Very very small (or dependent on your point of view) reason MONEY, that little thing that makes the world go round and come Monday morning, the reason why I always wish that we'd done the lottery (and obviously won) on the Saturday!!!

Reality has finally hit our self extended holiday (well ish jobs were always being sought) and the bank has finally run dry. Have spent the entire morning perusing over business / loans just to discover that (and this is obviously without applying) that even for the worst credit and at a whooping 51% apr we probably wouldn't get it as they don't except applications from self employed people. HMMMM.

As its also the start of the school year and the boys are starting brand new schools which means brand new uniforms :(. I know hubby is feeling it too as he hasn't had a morsel of a job prospect in weeks now and is living in hope of his casual christmas job with the Royal mail. I start my shadowing at a nursing home on Wednesday but without a CRB through not sure when I can actually start. Thinking of making a job wishing tree, its incredible the amount of jobs that are out there but even for a receptionist job for some reason you seem to need a degree in admin stuff.

I reckon its the start of the winter blues, school is starting, reality is starting and i'm missing my friends and family. But know i'd never be able to move back, unless me and hubby got stunning jobs.

Right time to cheer myself up!!!
