"some days we just get stuck, and bogged down. some days all you can do is smile and wait for someone to kindly remove your butt from the hole you find it wedged into"

I have a distinct lack of energy today, can't get motivated, my heart isn't in anything I do in fact just lost the will!!!!

Very very small (or dependent on your point of view) reason MONEY, that little thing that makes the world go round and come Monday morning, the reason why I always wish that we'd done the lottery (and obviously won) on the Saturday!!!

Reality has finally hit our self extended holiday (well ish jobs were always being sought) and the bank has finally run dry. Have spent the entire morning perusing over business / loans just to discover that (and this is obviously without applying) that even for the worst credit and at a whooping 51% apr we probably wouldn't get it as they don't except applications from self employed people. HMMMM.

As its also the start of the school year and the boys are starting brand new schools which means brand new uniforms :(. I know hubby is feeling it too as he hasn't had a morsel of a job prospect in weeks now and is living in hope of his casual christmas job with the Royal mail. I start my shadowing at a nursing home on Wednesday but without a CRB through not sure when I can actually start. Thinking of making a job wishing tree, its incredible the amount of jobs that are out there but even for a receptionist job for some reason you seem to need a degree in admin stuff.

I reckon its the start of the winter blues, school is starting, reality is starting and i'm missing my friends and family. But know i'd never be able to move back, unless me and hubby got stunning jobs.

Right time to cheer myself up!!!

Sooner or later we're all someone's dog. Terry Pratchett

Today our dog Willis arrived and so far I have called him by my baby's name on several occasions. As well as having THE most stubborn and know his own mind baby we also now have the same in our White German Shepherd lol!

But he is stunning.

aand the kids absolutely adore him, milk monster is not quite sure about the soppy kisses he receives though.

Hubby is over the moon, part and parcel of his mid life crisis methinks, coupled with his veterans football team!!!

Slightly worried that i'm doing most of the above too :).

We took Willis for a very very long walk and on said walk encountered a man who said that the field we were walking in was his ooops, turn back, spoke to two fellow dog walkers (prob meet half the village at this rate lol) explored a church yard, took a walk on a public footpath across a riggety old bridge (with a buggy I kid you not) and then into the field of dreams (for Willis anyway)
I have also discovered the art of walking in the countryside (finally)

Proper shoes!!!! - flip flops in nettles and thorns not good.
Baby needs a back carrier!!! - buggy is sooooo not terrain friendly.
Water lots of!!!!
Doggy bags lots of Again!!!

We have the worlds sweetest dog, not a single bark so far, we've come across cats, tractors and other dogs big and small, had no idea there was so many.

But by far the best part might be that my fittest might increase and he has a mighty pull!!!!

Despite making him a bed, he prefers Baby's play area (of course), has dropped his ball in the boys laps possibly about a 100 times now (hubby has since hidden the ball) and as I write all the men in my life are fast asleep.

Hubby possibly so he can be ready for his Vets footie match tomorrow and they are doing a photo shoot with all the new kit.  Bless his excited little boots!! My son also has his football and training kit and first match in Scole on Wednesday, good luck boys !!!

I have had a holiday, and I'd like to take it up professionally.

Back from our latest little break, this time it was our first your, mine and ours holiday.

3 of his kids. (14,12,8)
2 of my kids. (14 & 8)
1 of our kids :) (0)

Apart from a few little moans and groans the holiday went remarkably well, much better I would say than when we have weekends today. Its most likely the whole we're on holiday we can all relax persona but whatever it was it worked and (I think) we all came away thinking the holiday had been really good.

Lots of time was of course spent in the arcades (various ones of course, better betting odds), once in the night club 2 adults and 6 childrens, drinks, slush puppies and portions of chips is enough to bankrupt anyone lol!Always funny seeing the faces when you ask for 7 portions of chips!!!

We had a wonderful meal brought for us by hubby's mother in law (thank you maam) which was really nice, it was a buffet bbq for all the family. Hubby mum,  hubbys sister, brother in law, niece and nephew and now I have to get this right sisters mother in law, sisters brother in law and hmmmm stumped at the last little one????

Got on really well with my sister in laws - mother in law bit of a mouthful I know. We had lots in common. She married a man who had 4 children, whilst she had 3 from previous relationships and then had the one together. Much as ours 4 on my side, 3 on hubbys and then we had our beautiful milk monster.

Anyway on the Monday hubby drove down to London to collect his kids and I drove from Norfolk up to Mablethorpe in Lincs. Great description of the place, 10 mins walking to the beach again yay (hate having to get in a car all the time to go out), night club, shop, bar, swimming pool etc etc.

So let me get the first things out of the way

Beach at SALTFLEET (naming and shaming) 10 mins??????

Unexploded bombs (I kid you not)

Nightclub hmm small but found seats ok, even for ALL of us. No red berry cider FAIL :( Hubby and ma very much still in love though result, he made this photo when we were in the club bless him :).

Shop nothing & I repeat nothing in it!!!!

Swimming pool open 10-5 but didn't know about the closed for lunch between 1-2 very shivery boys & girls as all changing areas were used up as the whole pool got kicked out at the same time.

Good points it had a bath, seriously a caravan with a bath, absolute luxury compared with what we had last week lol!

Went into Mablethorpe one day and kids spent the entire afternoon playing in the inflatable area, older two not impressed that they are classed as adults and had to be happy playing crazy golf.

Had lunch, did the sand train, milk monster wasn't really impressed with that and screamed until we hit the waves then did his Jekyll and Hyde and became this placid creature who wouldn't say boo to a goose. Then oh bless he went on a donkey, it was purely just for a photo but he didn't want to get off so I went with him holding onto him for dear life and avoiding the other donkey's sprays of wee (nice) and he only flippin well loved the ride, it was lovely to see.

On a midweek break there's only so much time you have by the time you arrive on the first day to leaving on the last day, so we did Mablethorpe day 2, Chapel St Leonards (with hubby's family) day 3, then had a very bored day on day 4. Thought we'd stay on site for the last day as we had to do all that driving again but by 3pm we were almost all killing each other. 2 older boys stayed in the seats to which I believe they might have been glued, younger son continued to play in the park with his new friends as he had done for the previous 2 hours so we took the girls and milk monster into Saltfleet town. Ok change that to pub and garage but we still got out and milk monster pulled (very impressed) an older lady. So hubby had a drink in the pub (which he was very grateful for) so the MM could at least try and get the young lady's number lol.

Back home today after a pretty easy journey except for the fact that I try and be clever and go cross country sometimes for a short cut. It never works and an hour later I was back on the A47 which i'd left earlier for said (aaaargh) shortcut.

Kids did get a McDonalds though (their first in Norfolk) and the queue was out the door. (possibly not as bad as when the Russian store opened its doors for the first time lol) Hmmmm won't do that again in a hurry.

Listen to many, speak to a few!! PART 2

I have to say that a huge part of the lack of blogging has been down to my quest to earn money!!!!

After spending two days out with hubby dropping off and collecting brochures for Betterware for 20% of the profits of the orders. One week later and 16 hours of hard work (putting brochures in bags, writing numbers and then the house drops and collecting) for 5 orders and £8 profit, nil if you put in petrol costs getting to the villages !!!!!! Never mind we gave it a good try. Hubby has had a call from Royal Mail about possible employment to the point that after the telephone call we logged on the site and it stated interview successful (well done my darling) and we have worked really hard in the meantime with our business www.littlejumpers.co.uk hint hint, small little plug there. Have got all the party filler stuff now, all the catering boxes etc and just need about another £1500 to market the company with flyers (sorry hubby you're going back out on the road lol) and another larger castle and one ball pond for the toddler market as well as hoppers etc. So maybe £3000 then we can also get a van, seen a fab one that is in a business for sale but we like our little jumpers name and we've also done an advert on a BC website as well as yell.com and thomsons. We're getting there!!!! To the fact that i've just been off the blog for half an hour as I started looking for bouncy castles to buy again. Almost as addicted to our business as I am my red berry cider lol!!! Ps any investors wanting to contribute to this venture please contact us www.littlejumpers.co.uk, another small plug lol.

I'm also officially an Avon lady now but in my quest to get rich fast, not sure this is the way. I have been given 4 streets not in my area (so again petrol costs) 25 brochures and 150 houses. That'll take a while, maybe I can ask them to pass the brochure onto their next door neighbor when they're finished??? Anyway will try and get that started when we come back from our holiday with hubby's kids next week.

Talking about when we get back I have my first three shifts coming up to as a bank nurse, two 8-2pm shifts then a dreaded night shift 8pm-8am, Don't even know if I can remember what to do its been so long.
Talking of jobs hubby received a speeding fine (for one of his prized interviews at RM) and has been invited (don't you love that word as if there's any choice) for a speeding awareness course. I'm sure i'll have lots to blog about that lol.

Boys start at their new schools as well in just over a weeks time and must must dash to the shops today to try and get them their uniform/pe kit. Otherwise they might just refuse to go.

Although as I write this, its 9am and no sign of life as yet!!!!!!

TTFN!!!!!
